Using two Electric furnaces, Willman has the melting capacity of 100 tons daily. Our total shipped weight capacity is more than 10,000 tons per year. We produced 26 different types of metal ranging from class 30 gray iron to high silicon ductile irons capable of excellent service at temperatures up to 1800F. We use the Meehanite Metal Process to ensure consistency of properties during melting and solidification by controlling charge make-up, chemical analysis, chill wedge testing, temperature checks before pouring and at the ladle, carbon equivalent determination and spectrographic analysis and Leco Carbon & Sulfer Determines.
